Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Rough In Co. ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from roughinco.com (the "Site").
Information we collect
Order information. When you make a purchase, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and payment information (processed securely by our payment providers — we never see or store your full card number).
Device information. When you browse the Site, we automatically collect information about your device, including your IP address, browser type, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. We also collect information about how you interact with the Site — pages viewed, products looked at, what brought you here.
Communications. If you email us or sign up for our mailing list, we keep those messages and your contact details so we can respond and stay in touch.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
Fulfill orders — process payment, print your products, arrange shipping, and send order and tracking confirmations. Communicate with you about your order or respond to your questions. Screen orders for potential fraud or risk. Improve the Site and our products. When in line with the preferences you've shared with us, send you marketing emails and show you relevant advertising.
How we share your information
We share your personal information with third parties only as needed to run the business:
Shopify powers our online store. You can read Shopify's privacy policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Printify and its print providers receive your name, shipping address, and order details so your products can be printed and shipped to you.
Payment processors (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, or similar) handle your payment information directly under their own privacy and security standards.
Shipping carriers receive your name and address to deliver your order.
Advertising and analytics partners. We use tools like the Meta (Facebook) pixel and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Site and to show you relevant ads on other platforms. These tools may collect information about your device and browsing activity via cookies and similar technologies.
We may also share information to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, or protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small data files placed on your device. We use them to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand Site traffic, and measure and improve our advertising.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some Site features (like your cart) may not work properly without them.
Opting out of targeted advertising. You can adjust your ad preferences or opt out here:

Data retention
We keep your order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain it (such as tax records).
